On a recent trip to Derby, to visit my brother and his girlfriend, we went out one evening to The Post House.
“The Post House is a new and exciting independent restaurant & bar and is an industrial looking environment whereby the customer will have a choice of local artisan, organic foods and drink. “
At the time of writing The Post House is comprised of eight independent local food and drink businesses, showcasing a wide range of different cuisines. These businesses include a micro-brewery, a cocktail bar, burger restaurant and coffee shop. There is something oddly satisfying about having king prawns in a samphire and oyster sauce for a starter, followed by a bacon cheeseburger and dirty fries and finished off with a chocolate brownie and homemade strawberry milkshake.
I would seriously recommend it to anyone who finds themselves in the Derby area.
